How does counselling work?
Counselling begins with you choosing who you would like to work with. If you are interested in finding out more about green gate counselling then contact me via email, phone or text. You can also simply click the Get Started button on the website to send an enquiry.
How many sessions can I have?
How many sessions a client needs is as personal and unique as they are and through private practice there is the freedom for you to have counselling as long as you need it.
Who do you work with?
I work with anyone from the age of 18 upwards.
What are your qualifications?
I am a qualified counsellor with a level 4 diploma in Therapeutic Counselling. I am a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and I abide by their Ethical Framework. I engage in regular continuous professional development, through courses and further study.
How do I find you?
I am based in Bedford's Castle quarter, on bus routes to and from Bedford Town Centre. My practice is accessed by a pale green gate at the end of Castle Road near the corner of Castle Road and Newnham Avenue specifically for client usage and we will meet in a ground floor room in my home.
Is there ample parking nearby?
Yes, parking is on the road and it is free.
payment and cancellations
How much notice do I need to give if I need to cancel my session?
48 hours is needed to cancel a session or a fee will be charged. The details of this will be agreed in the contract that we sign at the start of our work together.
How do I pay for sessions?
Payment must be made 48 hours in advance, this will secure your allotted session time. Payment can be made by cash or bank transfer.
What about holidays?
We will give each other notice of holidays and lack of availability, at least two week's notice, so that we can factor in breaks to our work together.
